The Ghost of a Thousand are a band that fellow ASer MattJ first introduced me to after the release of their debut album, and I absolutely loved them. This album really sees them mature in my opinion, and the glowing reviews it received seem to agree with me. They were the first real band I saw at Reading Festival and what a start it proved to be, easily one of the finest bands I've ever seen live. Tom Lacey is an immense frontman, both live and on the album, and inspires the belief that you can be cool despite being a lanky ginger weirdo.
